CadnPDF (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others. This policy describes our procedure for handling copyright infringement claims relating to content hosted on cadnpdf.com, including third-party CAD drawing sets.
Who Should Use This Page
If you are a copyright holder — or an agent authorised to act on behalf of a copyright holder — and you believe that content on cadnpdf.com reproduces your copyrighted work without authorisation, you may submit a takedown notice using the procedure below.
This procedure follows the principles of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) as an industry standard, adapted to our operations under Bangladesh law. We take copyright claims seriously and will act promptly on valid notices.
What to Include in Your Notice
To be actionable, your takedown notice must include all of the following:
- Your identification: Your full name, postal address, telephone number, and email address. If you are acting as an agent, identify the copyright holder you represent.
- Description of the copyrighted work: A clear description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed — for example, “the AutoCAD drawing set for [project name], originally published at [URL].”
- Location of the infringing material: The specific URL(s) on cadnpdf.com where the allegedly infringing material can be found. General descriptions of the site are not sufficient — please provide direct page URLs.
- A statement of good faith belief: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement of accuracy: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright holder or are authorised to act on the copyright holder’s behalf.
- Your signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright holder or of a person authorised to act on their behalf.
How to Submit
Send your completed notice to us via our Contact page. Select “Other” as the subject and clearly label your message as a copyright takedown notice. We will acknowledge receipt within 5 business days and take down or disable access to the identified content within 14 business days of receiving a complete, valid notice.
Counter-Notification
If you believe material was removed from cadnpdf.com in error — for example, because you have authorisation to use the content or because the notice was submitted in bad faith — you may submit a counter-notification via our Contact page. Your counter-notification should include: your identification; identification of the removed material and its location before removal; a good faith statement that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; and your agreement to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh for any dispute arising from the counter-notification.
Repeat Infringers
CadnPDF will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of third-party copyright.
Third-Party Drawing Sets
Some of the CAD drawing sets available for download on cadnpdf.com were originally produced by third parties. Where we have received copyright claims relating to such content in the past, we have complied promptly. We encourage rights holders to contact us before pursuing other legal avenues, as we are committed to resolving legitimate claims quickly.
Abuse of This Process
Submitting a false or misleading takedown notice may result in liability under applicable law. We reserve the right to disregard notices that are materially incomplete or that we believe to be submitted in bad faith.
